To become a welder it takes self-discipline and dedication, just as our wonderful students show us every time they come to class. Our classes help students transition into their welding career, once all courses have been completed, they will have the hands-on experience they need to get a welding job.

We are passionate about our students and aspire to guide them as they set forth on their journey into the welding industry, seeing our students thrive and follow their dreams is the foundation of our classes.

A-1 Welding is now offering welding classes at our shop in Willis, Texas! Our goal is to provide students with 100% hands-on training, we want our student to understand the proper and safe handling of the machines they are using and get comfortable with the work that makes up welding. We are passionate about our students and want to make sure they are getting the necessary attention they need, thats why we strive for semi private classes 5:1 student to teacher ratio. Whether you are a complete beginner, or are looking to freshen up your welding skills.
 A-1 will teach you a demanding trade that never fades!

Operation of Mig & Stick Welding machines

Mig & Stick Welding

Cutting, Grinding, & Measuring

Flux-core Welding

Tig Welding

Certificate of completion will be given after completed course

Class Schedule

We offer classes Tuesday thru Friday

Two hour sessions per day

First session starting from 11:00am - 1:00pm and the second from 2:00pm - 4:00pm. (Minimum 2 hours per session)

For students who are traveling we offer

4 hour sessions 

3 day courses

(12 hour course can be complete within 3 days)

Waivers of liability will need to be signed before starting our course (Students under the age of 18 with need a parent or guardians signature)
